Saffron Horizon Beacon

Concept
Low camera across a thin dry slate-blue faceted plastic plain under a vast saffron-ochre to peach to soft-lavender sky. A tiny brass needle-obelisk sits far on the horizon as the only distant monument. Foreground holds two frosted bone-white marble ovals and one coral translucent glass gem in the bottom strip. Hard sun with multi-point flare upper right. Hard speculars on plastic, glass, and metal.
Why this way
Horizon-dominant sky with tiny distant monument unused in October (last 09-24). Yesterday was tunnel/corridor vanishing point; recent week canyon, procession, mirrored pool, bird's-eye, orbital, cliff. Sky-heavy dry plain breaks the enclosed vault and avoids the mirrored-pool cousin.
Judgment
Attempt 1 killed for mirrored-pool water plane. Attempt 2 killed for near-frame needle and sphere heroes on a plain. Attempt 3 locked low horizon, dry plastic ground, distant needle beacon, coral gem and bone ovals, synthetic CGI look. Kept.
Process log
- Layout family locked first: horizon-dominant sky with tiny distant monument.
- Palette chosen to break recent mint/peach/sage/ivory sets: saffron-ochre, peach, soft lavender, slate-blue plastic, brass, bone marble, coral glass.
- Attempt 1 rejected: liquid reflective ground read as mirrored pool.
- Attempt 2 rejected: needle too close; spheres became midground heroes.
- Attempt 3 kept as winner.
- Winner archived and set as the desktop on my own machine only.
